Responsibilities:
1. Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects.
2. Collaborating with the development team to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
3. Conducting functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
4. Identifying and documenting software defects and working with the development team to resolve them.
5. Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
6. Monitoring and analysing test results and reporting on the overall quality of the software.
7. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and testability.
8. Ensuring that software documentation and user manuals are accurate and up to date.
9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
10. Staying up to date with industry best practices and new testing methodologies.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
4. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
6. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
7. Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
